'CHANGE' EXHIBITION
ART AGAINST KNIVES PRESENTS 'CHANGE'- a multidisciplinary exhibition featuring work by young artists, creatives + activists from across north London - calling for change.
The collection of work includes: music produced by young artists from their music studio The LAB calling for non-violent approaches to policing; Zines created by young women and non-binary young people tackling the underlying foundations of misogyny and dismantling toxic beauty standards; poems capturing young people's' experiences of state harm; and a film capturing what needs to be done to transform mental health services for young black men.
The gallery shop has been fully stocked with a beautiful collection of limited edition risograph prints, postcards and tote bags designed by young people to amplify their call for change. All proceeds will go straight back into funding the continuation of the creative spaces and Art Against Knives' work to drive change.
